JMG Thermal is an independently owned, family based, coil manufacturing plant located in Lexington, Tennessee.
With years of hands-on experience, our team has the skills required and the equipment necessary to produce coils of any size. We can do a large-scale production run or manufacture a one-off custom coil. We strive to provide a high-quality customer service experience to anyone we work for, no matter if they are a small business or a major OEM.
Meet our team
Jim German
Jim German is the founder of JMG Thermal. He has been in the coil manufacturing industry for over 40 years. His career started on the ground floor of a coil factory, but thanks to his work ethic, he was able to work his way up the ranks. Jim started a coil manufacturer in 1999 and built it into a leading coil company before selling it in 2016. His passion for coils or customer service has not waned over the years. Founding JMG Thermal is a labor of love and he is joined by his children to continue the family tradition.
Robert Vance
Dr. Robert Vance is the Chief Engineer for JMG Thermal. He earned his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Michigan State University. With 20+ years of experience in HVAC and the coil industry, Robert has become an expert at designing and optimizing coils for commercial and industrial applications. Dr. Vance is well prepared to help take JMG Thermal to the next level. He looks forward to sharing his knowledge through his work at JMG Thermal as he continues to be on the cutting edge of his field.
